Every summer, packs of IFSA athletes, both adults and juniors, head south for colder climates. SASS Global Travel offers an incredible experience in the massive mountains of Argentina for a truly unique summer training opportunity....
Over the past few years, we have seen more and more IFSA athletes flock down to SASS Argentina for summer training in full-on winter conditions. SASS Argentina offers an ideal environment for Freeride athletes to train, hone their avalanche awareness, and experience backcountry travel. SASS offers hands-on coaching for practicing natural airs, line selection, improving flow, and encouraging confidence on the mountain. The IFSA athletes and coaches below have taken the leap to experience SASS and offer a full recommendation for their program.

Devon Bryan – SASS Argentina 2017 Attendee
Devon is an IFSA Independent Athlete out of the Pacific Northwest and the 3rd place Overall IFSA Champion for the 12-14 Male Snowboard division. Devon gets a leg up on the competition by attending SASS in the summer months to keep strong, fit, and add new tricks to his snowboarding skill set. Devon is an incredibly driven athlete with wild blue locks and having seen him snowboard, it’s no surprise he takes his training very seriously! Here is what Devon's family has to say about SASS:

Forrest took 4 athletes down to SASS in 2017 with the AVSC team for training, cultural immersion, and amazing food. The team enjoyed the generous group discount provided by SASS and Forrest plans to take more athletes from the Aspen Velley Ski & Snowboard Club in 2018 to hone their Freeride skills during North America's summer months. Paris Pratt is a formidable competitor in our 15-18 Ski Female division. She and her younger sister, Sunny, also plan to attend SASS Argentina this summer to continue their training and meet new Freeride friends.
