2015 Colorado Junior Freeride Championships at Aspen Highlands

When: February 7-8, 2015

We are excited to host an IFSA Sanctioned Junior Regional Freeride Competition Presented by GoPro. The regional competitions are feeders into the national competitions and we expect to sell the event out. This competition is open to skiers and snowboarders between the ages of 10 and 18 and has a strong focus on line choice, fluidity, control, technique, style and energy. Please note that this is a 2 day event.
HELMETS ARE MANDATORY.

Saturday, Feb 7th

8:00AM Exhibition lift open to competitors
8:15AM MANDATORY Athlete Meeting at Merry-Go-Round restaurant
9-9:45AM Course Inspection
10AM-3PM Competition

Sunday, Feb 8th

Divisions: Ski & Snowboard

U12 Division - Athletes are 11 years old or younger
12-14 Division - Athletes are 12 to 14 years old.
15-18 Division - Athletes are 15 to 18 years old

Registration: Registration will open December 17th, 2014 at 4:00 PM MST

Registration is $80 and will not include a competition day lift ticket. Tickets will be available at the ticket window with competitor bib. All competitors must be 10 years old by December 31, 2014. Age categories are determined by an athlete’s age as of December 31, 2014. We do expect this event to sell out.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST HAVE A WAIVER SIGNED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
