Board Member Changes
We are excited for those Board Members who have chosen to move on to new adventures. These individuals have helped create the IFSA into the great organization that it continues to be and they will be missed. Best wishes from your IFSA family!
Schmity (Eric Schmitz) has been with the IFSA for many years working as one of the top judges in the industry. Over the past few months he has filled the large shoes of the late Jim Jack as the Board of Directors Vice President and Head Judge. Schmity has been crucial in preparing the IFSA to meet the extreme judging demands this season brings. We wish him luck in his new endeavor.
Max Kusaj is known for his silky smooth voice as an announcer at big mountain events. Most recently he has been serving as the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer with the IFSA. Max is a renaissance man; accomplished writer, skier and avid motorcyclist. Max will continue to work with the IFSA as an Advisory Board member where his valuable ideas and opinions will continue to help shape the sport.
Chris Paulding, the voice of reason, has rejoined the ranks of the IFSA Board of Directors. Chris brings with him a wealth of experience relative to the sport of big mountain freeriding. We are very excited to have hime back.
Rob and Nicole Greener are the muscle of the IFSA. They work tirelessly to ensure the Junior IFSA events are a booming success. This is evident in the robust Junior schedule for the 2013 season. Rob has stepped down as the President and is now serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Nicole will continue her indispensable role of Vice President of Administration. Rob and Nicole are not only the surrogate parents of the IFSA, but have also welcomed a new baby girl into their family. Congrats!
The IFSA is pleased to welcome Scott Mahoney to the Board of Directors as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Scott is an exemplary example of an involved parent and has been crucial in helping to position the IFSA to have an outstanding 2013 season. Welcome Scott and thank you for your willingness to help move the sport forward!
