How is the IFSA funded?

The IFSA is by you - we are an athlete advocacy organization!

Your membership dues, business contributions, and donations all help us improve Freeride competitions. Here is where our revenue comes from:

89% - Membership dues
4.2% - Direct public support (donations, sponsorships, etc.)
6.8% - Sanctioning fees (An athlete head tax fee paid by the resort to support the IFSA)

The fees collected by your IFSA membership cover the cost of producing guidelines and event documents, creating rules, maintaining a ranking system, certifying and training judges, TDs and coaches, managing registration and an event calendar of over 100 stops, and compensating our employees.
