CANCELLED - 2021 RED Mountain IFSA Junior Regional 2*

Dear Western Canada Freeride community,

@westerncanadafreeride worked tirelessly to build multiple event schedules and dial in logistics for 2021. We worked in cooperation with our committed resort partners creating a cohesive Covid-19 plan addressing safety concerns. We ascended to the top of the mountain. We are ready to drop in.

However, our beloved sport involves many factors that are often out of our control. Often, mother nature determines the success of the descent, event or season.

In this instance, Provincial Health Officers have applied restrictions indefinitely. We do not have a green light to drop into our competitive season.

Under PHO restrictions, heartbreakingly, WCF is unable to provide a regional series for our community. All of our resort partners have confirmed event cancelation. WCF is in support of local clubs who are still able to move forward with grass root initiatives.
